With the introduction of NBN and internet telephony, the role of the traditional telephone exchange will diminish and they will eventually disappear. The following information is provided as a historical record.
Another useful resource is located at this Telstra site. Look under "charging zones" and a document can be downloaded that lists Telstra exchanges and related call charging zones
